Muizenberg waterslide
one of the many fun things to do in Cape Town
Pick one!
No list of enjoyable things to do in Cape Town would be complete without mentioning the Muizenberg Waterslide or Supertube.
Okay, Muizenberg is still rather run down and tatty-looking, though they are working hard on it. (Lovely new apartment building on the beachfront, and Knead, the deli restaurant - yum! And without doubt the Muizenberg Pavilion is one of the most hideous pieces of work anywhere on the Cape Peninsula (just my opinion :o). But the waterslide is a great outing and pretty good value too.
As waterparks go, the Muizenberg one is quite old and there are definitely far 'wizzier' modern ones in other parts of world. But hey, our kids don't know that! They love it and have an absolute ball there.
Whether they’re enjoying the Baby Slide,

the Camel (named for its hump – surprise, surprise!) or the
Big Slide,

there are always gales of laughter to be heard and hours of enjoyment had!
The Muizenberg Waterslide is great for kids from age 4 upwards. Unless you’re prepared to slide with them, obviously they need to be water safe, or they won't cope with the currents in the landing pools.

And if you decide that the water is not for you, or the weather doesn’t look as promising as you’d hoped there’s always the
Putt-Putt Mini Golf course right beside the Waterslide!
