A giant foam bath? Stormy August weather in Cape Town

The storm was a really wild one lasting two days, with hailstones and massive swells.

The 'boulevard' in Camps Bay was flooded by the storm surge and even on Sunday evening there was still spume everywhere.

This shot of foam-covered cars and ocean was taken between Sea Point and Mouille Point. As you can see, the beach at Three Anchor Bay is non-existent and the promenade is awash with foam.
