September Weather in Cape Town
I have a friend who moved here from the UK. She says that September weather in Cape Town is remarkably consistent - "in the second week of the month my feet thaw out, every year!"

So there you have it! Though mourning her lack of double glazing and central heating (on sunny, winter days in Cape Town it’s often colder inside your home than out) she admits that once September arrives, warmth is not far behind it.

This is the month when all the oak trees burst into shaggy, tender leaf. The vineyards are covered with a veil of green and strawberries and watermelon hit the supermarkets - yum!
September -- What to pack? - warm layers in case you hit the last remnants of winter
