Scarecrows Good Food Deli is a good spot for younger kids. There�s plenty of room for them to run and play and also some innovative ideas like the wigwam and stepping �stones� to tempt your kids into action.

Throw in some healthy food (we like the cucumber and carrot sticks cut as finger food � great!) and good coffee and everyone is happy!

Who's it for?
It�s probably best suited to the toddler to 8 year old age range � that stage when they are already mobile but not yet play-caf�d-out and looking for greater excitements.

Of course life and family planning are not always that orderly so if you do end up there with a crawling babe yu should be prepared for a messy pair of knees.

Take hats!
On a very hot day shade may be at a premium � they are still waiting for their trees to grow up � so be sure to go armed with hat and sunscreen.

Drive down Hout Bay Rd from Constantia Nek. It's on your left as you make your way down the valley, right beside the Spar (and just one stop along from the Clay Caf�). You can see the front of it from the road.
