Opening hours are as follows

Monday to Thursday 9.00 - 12.00Fridays 9.00 - 11.00

The Consulate-General is closed on weekends, on South-African Public Holidays and on Queens Day (30 April).

The Consulate building is on the corner of Buitengracht and Strand Streets

Parking on Strand Street is difficult. It's a busy street and there's not much room to manoeuvre into the parallel parking bays.

There is a useful parking lot across Buitengracht, diagonally opposite the Consulate building. Alternatively Bree Street is a good choice because it offers parking on both sides of the street, in both directions!

If you have time visit the Gold of Africa Museum located right beside the Consulate building!
