Use This Map Well

Once you have it open you can click on the arrows at the corners and sides to move left (west – towards Cape Town) or right (east - towards Stanford and Gans Baai)

Get Your Bearings

As an initial reference point, the yellow line that doglegs through the middle of the map is the main thoroughfare - imaginatively named Main Road!

The town centre is around the area where Main Road makes that dog-leg change of direction, and the Old Harbour lies at the base of the cliffs at the very end of Harbour Street.

Two Hotels as Reference Points

The Windsor Hotel - a great down to earth family option - is dead centre on the southern part of Marine Street, one blockform the Main Rd dog-leg.

The Marine Hotel - the opposite end of the spectrum being a wonderfully upmarket hotel - is on the northern part of Marine Street, beyond the Main Rd dog-leg.

Oh dear, it is all sounding very complicated :)

Cliff Paths and Whale Boats

The paths along the cliff tops run along the entire coastline shown in this initial map shot.
