Luxury Hotels Cape TownBoutique Hotels | Luxury Guesthouses | Five Star AccommodationLuxury hotels in Cape Town have proliferated in recent years. ![]() The days when the Mount Nelson was your first and only choice are long gone (though that ‘grand old lady’ can still hold her head high in this category!) The arrival of the concept of “boutique hotels” in Cape Town has also added some exciting, contemporary newcomers, and the best Cape town tour guides will confirm my opinion that top CapeTown guesthouses offer incredible service and comfort. Spectacular comfort and service are just the start when it comes to what a Cape Town luxury hotel offers. So let’s take a look at what else the establishments offer, to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons! My favourite luxury hotels in Cape TownAs a Capetonian I don’t have much call for staying in hotels, but I’m well aware of the best of them! These are the ones I love, and why.
Radisson Hotel Cape Town At the Radisson it’s all about perfect location. It is right on the rocks at Granger Bay, so it’s convenient for the Waterfront and city centre while still being out of the hustle and bustle. We love to have dinner there and sit on the deck at Tobago’s watching the yachts come and go. They ahve a wonderful dining terrace and daily seafood barbecue which is VERY good. When George W. Bush visited Cape Town he stayed at the Cape Grace! It was in the heart of Waterfront yet slightly aloof, perfect for his security arrangements! It’s central but a little removed from the main traffic areas, so it feels totally serene. My husband says it’s his secret business weapon – no one says “No” to a breakfast meeting at the Cape Grace! The Cellars Hohenort Hotel This gracious hotel is in Constantia and you'll feel as though you are visiting a country estate. If peaceful tranquility suits you (think enormous oak trees and a lavender knot garden to name a couple of elements) this is a wonderful country hotel in Cape Town. This is another out-of-town-feeling beauty. It’s close to Kirstenbosch and even closer to Cavendish Square (perfect for boutique label shopping) but set down a quiet side street in the heart of a leafy suburb.Vineyard Hotel rates, bookings and information Click here for another luxury hotel in Cape Town...
