Hotels in Cape TownBig and small, trendy or stylish, all family friendly: let's take a lookThese are my top selections after perusing the details of the hotels in Cape Town. Eventually I chose one right on table bay, one within easy reach of the Waterfront, a country setting among vinyeards in Tokai and a great whale watching option near Simonstown. This was a tough job! Dolphin Beach Hotel is a four-star hotel located on Blouberg beach with beautiful views of Table Mountain and Robben Island across the Atlantic Ocean. Only 15 minutes from Cape Town`s CBD and the Waterfront.
The Cape Manor Hotel is ideally situated in the tree lined street of Marais Road in Sea Point, just minutes away from the Atlantic Coast beachfront, and a five minute shuttle to the famous V&A Waterfront - Africa's most visited destination.
The Steenberg Hotel is set on a historic wine farm at the foot of Silvermine. It’s a five star hotel, voted Best Luxury Hotel in South Africa so it doesn’t come cheap, but it offers awesome family suites amongst its accommodation options.
The Southern Right Hotel in Simonstown is named for the whales that cavort nearby in season. It’s deep in the heart of my favourite area – the South Peninsula – great choice!
