Hermanus Guest House Accommodation

The hardest thing for me when choosing a Hermanus guest house is deciding on location.

Before you go any further, read my Hermanus accommodation overview to get familiar with the different areas. And do check the Hermanus map to find the various establishments so that you can be sure you know where you will be staying!

Remember, I have a family ‘bent’ so I often look for places that have a family friendly ethos. That doesn’t mean you’ll be surrounded by little kids though – these are all 3 or 4 star rated guest houses so you will be in great hands.

Hermanus Guest House Accommodation

This is family friendly guest house accommodation in Hermanus - perfect! It is in Eastcliff, close to the Old Harbour and village centre with its market and restaurants and walking distance to the cliff tops.

It has family suites which make it suitable for younger families too. (Why am I still at home? This is just what I have been looking for!)

Four Pines is another child-friendly destination in Hermanus.

It is located between the beaches and the cliff paths, very close to the Hermanus golf course and comes highly recommended by past guests.

Walker Bay Lodge is a family-owned guest house with attentive hosts. Thye welcome family parties and have interlading rooms available which gives you the best of both worlds - a bit of privacy whiles till having the kids under your wing.

The house is a stone's throw from the clifftops and convenient for everything.

I love the Abalone Guest House. It’s in Westcliff, has great street appeal and always catches my eye when I drive past! It’s perfect for the cliff paths, convenient for the town centre.

Alas not ideal for families with younger kids.
