Flukes Restaurant is at the Southern Right Hotel near Simonstown.

They serve the BEST breakfasts in Cape Town with beautiful, sunny views onto Glen Cairn beach.

There's parking where you are not harassed by car guards plus friendly, efficient staff - and it was not heavingly busy, even over the Christmas season.

Visiting Cape Town for a holiday, after a week of surly incompetence elsewhere, this place was just a breath of fresh air.

I also recommend the Flukes salad with butternut and seeds and all sorts of delicious bits!
