Jenny was given her Xhosa name of 'Nomvuyo' (which means gladness and joy) by two work colleagues many years ago.

She formed friendships in Khayelitsha during the years when it was unusual for any non-resident to enter the townships.

Even today many people think she is a foreigner because it is still unusual for South Africa 'whites' to visit the townships!

She is more than a tour guide, she is a interactive facilitator!
