Backed by nothing but a mere handful of 15 dwellings, most of which are private residences though a few are available as holiday villas, Glen Beach has an away-from-it-all feeling which is all the more remarkable for its proximity to the city.

If you are not lucky enough to secure a Glen Beach villa, there are a few nearby alternatives. Camps Bay is closest, but is somewhat bustling. However, if walking to eateries and amenities is a priority it will be your best bet.

For more tranquillity, while still staying with luxurious offerings, you should consider Clifton and Bantry Bay.
