Bazbus beyond Cape Town - need Garden Route advice

Hello there!

My name is Marion, I am 32yrs old and I will be working in Midrand for a few days at the end of Feb.
Then, on Feb 26th in the morning I will fly to Cape Town.

Since I don't have a car and won't rent one, I was planning on taking the Bazbus around Garden Route starting Feb 26th with a 7 day pass - only I so far have no clue which stops to best book accomodation in already. I.e. I have booked the night 25/26 in Cape Town - and then that's pretty much it.
If I really made full use of that 7 day pass I'd need to be back in Cape Town by March 4th, and my flight back to Johannesburg goes early on Sun March 7th.

The time in Cape Town and around I'll backpack and yes - this is where your help would be sooo appreciated!

For example of course I've read about Mossel Bay and Seal Island, about Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, but so far still have no real feeling for the distance. For example would it make sense to stay overnight in Mossel Bay? Or take the Bazbus a step further, stay there.. well. :)

Yes.. well and to say a little more about myself: I love the sea and nature itself, and am thanking you already in advance for the support!!
