There's no problem with accomodation in Cape Town -- there is mounds of it!
The same goes for most of the main centres in South Africa.
Once you've decided where you want to be and the type of accommodation that will best suit you,
you may find it helpful to use a website that offers many ways to slice and dice all that data (there's the accountant in me creeping in!)
My first Cape Town accommodation stop

The possible downside...?
- no single site offers EVERY possible option :-( you may miss a shy gem, but you'll save a lot of schlep

When You Need to Book Cape Town / South Africa Hotels...
... there are two great options for this.
