February Weather in Cape Town
February weather in Cape Town and summer fun continues :o). On really hot days we head for the beach early, then go home till mid-afternoon before venturing forth again. The South-Easter is still the prevailing wind – it should start to drop towards the end of this month. All outdoor activities are still an enjoyable prospect, but hectic activity in the midday heat is best avoided. Embrace the siesta habit if you can!
The Winelands
are a good option because most of the estates have cool green gardens with huge, old oak trees that offer a welcome respite from the wind and sun.
