No problem - here are a few more suggestions
by: Alison

Hi Paul,

I'm still not sure whether you are looking for hotel, villa or guest house style accommodations, but how do these look to you?

I think a Camps Bay village villa could be a great fit for your family, giving you the best of all worlds.

Further from town there's De Noordhoek Hotel, or Sacred Mountain guest house...

Higher budget?
by: Paul Barrett

Thanks so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it

Just one more question. I have a bigger budget than the places suggested. I dont mind spending up to 2,500 ZAR a night. Is there anywhere you would recommend at that sort of budget

tks again

Paul

March is a great time of year here!
by: Alison

Hi Paul,

What a good thing you will get in ahead of the FIFA 2010 rush!

You don't mention what your preference is as to type, whether you are looking for self-catering, B&B or hotels, so I have given you a few options. Of course that also depends on your budget.

Is being reasonably near a beach a priority?

Anyway, for starters:
Self-catering and furthest from town, The House at Pooh Corner is a peaceful spot, close to Noordhoek beach and a short drive from the warm waters at Fishhoek. It would be great for your 2 year old.

Hout Bay is a family haven, with a few options - again near-ish to a beach.
Thulani Guest House is very family-friendly.

Tarragona Lodge in Hout Bay is also an option, if you don't mind a sleeper couch for your littlies.

If you'd like leafy green suburbs, Southern Light in Constantia might well do it for you, or Greenways Hotel (for a touch of real pampering).

If you're not 'wineland-ed out' after Paarl, Hoopenburg in Stellenbosch is also a possibility.

Hope that helps :-). Let me know...
